Although, just a quick glance at the NEGU (Nay-Goo): Never Ever Give Up® graphic design (Logo) reveals a white surrender flag behind a prohibition symbol or within a red circle and a red letter “N” in the front of the flag; If one looks closer, they will see that although that is the case; it also spells out the phrase, “NEGU”.
The capital letter “N” is situated normally, centered inside of the circle.
The lower-case letter “e” is titled to the left with its top facing south-westerly.
The letter “G” is situated in the same area as the letter “e”, but with its top facing north-easterly,
and the letter “U” is situated where the two side stems of the letter “N” are, with its base within the bottom of the red circle.
**”To the World it may appear to be just a logo, but to the logo, *I.T. appears for the Visually Literate to behold.”

This is a Visual Literacy exercise in using one’s analytical ‘Mind’s Eye’ to recognize oftentimes hidden messages and meaning (Noticing Everything Generally Unnoticed), whereby the graphic design (Image/Logo) has the textual message embedded within it; with still another acronymic message embedded within the text within the image, as well as a polarity “Allowance-Symbol” balancing the Prohibition-Symbol by allowing one to “Not” Give Up.
A Synergistic-Semiotic Convergence of Graphic and Text Enhances Visual Literacy. The logo is an enlightening and empowering word-phrase acronym (seed-word), creatively and uniquely integrated within an eye-catching graphic-design symbol, like a mighty oak tree in a small acorn seed. Starting with various shapes and lines converted into text; then into an acronym and then back into the shapes and lines of the logo. It’s a dynamic visual metamorphosis within a 2-D (two-dimensional) construct, having a Past, Present & Future continuum effect; Whereas in the words of the late Marshall McLuhan:
“The Medium is the message.” (Meme)
*Excerpted from my soon-to-be published book on this subject; of which the title will remain unrevealed until the time for its publication.
“The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.” ~Alvin Toffler
The design-thinking unique technique created and employed by CEW(“Q”), which he refers to as “Graphext ImExpressed Abdstruactionism” or GIA (Graphic + Text and Impression + Expression and Abstract + Adstract + Reductionism + Construction), takes a ‘Swiss–Army–Knife‘ approach, as a “Glyphed–Artsy–Ciphe“; resolving the ‘words (text) versus picture debate’, while providing a new way of seeing and thinking; as the NeGU Logo(s) image/symbol (as well as other works of his) is more than meets the eye.
